Top 10 Makeup Of The Day’s Photo Compilation.

Hi guys,

Okay, So I have been excited to do this blog post for a couple of weeks now and finally finished my 10th makeup look so decided to compile them into one big old blog post with links to each individual blog post.

Okay so I started documenting my makeup looks when I reached 100 followers on my blog and it was around new years. It was my new Years Resolution to become more confident in myself and more adventurous with my makeup and you can really tell how I started to build my self worth.

I have never been confident with the way I look and have relied on wearing skimpy clothes and having an adventurous dress sense for attention but since Leo has been bored I put on a lot of weight and felt my confidence completely diminish. Having always had confidence issues I have relied on attention and compliments from other people to make me feel some sort of self worth but I decided I was going to do it for myself.

It was actually one of the reasons I started my blog, I wanted to be able to document my progress and to build something that I could be completely proud of having done myself but improving my makeup skills gave me the satisfaction that I used to receive from other people. Having something that I am now passionate about has made me love myself as opposed to liking myself from other people loving me. It’s a weird one but it makes sense in my head.

You can actually see the confidence growing through my blog posts as I found it difficult to even take full face photos.

So let’s begin.

MOTD 10: Anastasia Beverly Hills Metalic Lipstick

Hello my lovelies,

So today I tested out a new product which I was very excited about, it’s the Anastasia Beverly hills liquid lipsticks which have extremely recently been added to their UK store. It is a product which I have wanted to try for a long long time but unfortunately Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty and their own website have only stocked eyebrow products, brushes, lipglosses and highlight palettes but I’m not going to get too much into that as I plan on doing a swatch and review on this shade and the other which I purchased so here is the look that I came up with.

What I used

Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer, Nivea Men Post Shave Balm for the Forehead, L’Oreal True Match Foundation in 1.D/1.W Golden Ivory, Mac Studio Finish Concealer in NW10, Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour kit (highlight powder for setting face) Nyx Blush in taupe for contour, Nyx Illuminator Enigmatic.

Mac Studio Finish Concealer to prime, Two Faced Sweet Peached Palette White Peach to set the lid, Morphe 35K for the look, Nyx Matte Liquid Liner in Black, Ebay Eyelashes, Duo Eyelash Glue, ABH dipbrow pomade in Chocolate for the tail and mid section of the brow, Nyx blush in Taupe for the front Portion, L’oreal Brow Plumper, Urban Decay Perversion Mascara.

I hope you have enjoyed this look. I tried to keep the eyes quite simple as the lip was so bold but I think it looks quite nice. What’s your favourite liquid Lipstick?

MOTD 9: Mothers Day Day Look

Hello my lovelies,

Okay so I’m a bit late with this one but I’ve been busy with flat pack furniture and trying to exist on lack of sleep (children) and also mother’s day the other day which I was super excited about.

It was my first mother’s day and I honestly don’t know who was more excited, myself or Ricardo. Actually, I know the answer, it was Ricardo. We have a thing where on most opportunities where we have to open presents we always open them at midnight but I wanted to open my mother’s day present in the morning because I have the fondest memories of curling up on my mums bed every year at stupid o’clock in the morning and handing her her presents and It just looked so desirable but Rico was so proud of what he’d bought me he wanted me to open it. He was almost begging me to open it at midnight then when I called his bluff he’d instantly retract it and you could see the pain in his eyes.

There turned out to be a reason in why he was so excited about giving me my present, it’s because the boy done good. He got me a beautiful photo frame with pictures of our family and a Jeffree star liquid lipstick in the colour Blue velvet, which I mentioned that I wanted in passing a couple of weeks ago.

I created a cute little look which I was pleased with:

My next makeup of the day will be my number 10 which is exciting so i’m going to do it slightly different, I’m going to take a photo from each one and link so you can see all of them up until now. I think that will be a cute idea.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post,

MOTD 8: Holy Grail First impressions look.

Good morning my treacles,

Today I am writing my blog super duper early but I have managed to get the sprog down for a nap (yay) and he has given me enough time to do my makeup and to take pictures and write my blog (maybe???).

So even though I am not going out today I still did my makeup like I was going for a night out; to be honest I actually put more makeup on when I am at home than going out because when i Go out most of my time is spent on getting Leo ready and you won’t understand the struggles of getting a baby out of the house with all of their accessories until you actually have a baby, but when he is napping I enjoy experimenting and doing different looks.

Today is the first time that I am actually using the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette which I got the other day and you can watch my first impressions if you want if you click HERE (shameless self promo). I also Recieved my first ever Jeffree Starr product as I’ve been slightly dubious before because of his reputation but I reckoned his products are all vegan and cruelty free so it was better than buying mac for instance and I am so impressed, hence the reason that I’ve worn the lipstick for my last two posts. I just want to never take it off in my life.

So apart from using the Holy Grail Palette this is actually a pretty basic makeup look so I won’t link everything that I used but you can have a look on my previous Makeup of the day if you click HERE if you want to have a look. I think I’m going to reinvest in a new ABH dipbrow because even though it’s the same time as my hair I think I need something more grey toned. I have only had my natural red hair for a few months so I’m still trying to find what works for it.

If you’d like to subscribe or have a look at my YouTube then I would love that and you can click HERE.

MOTD 6: Urban Decay Full Spectrum First Impression Look

Hi guys,

So today is a great day as is any other in which I get to use a new palette. Today’s blessing comes in the form of the Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette which I picked up yesterday and I have to say I am in love. I put myself off buying this palette for a long time purely because I do not use bright colours in my day to day life but there are only so many looks you can do with browns and Oranges and I have to tell you I am reaching the end of my lifespan. So I decided to pick this up and give it a go.

Now I’m not going to go too much into this because I’m actually posting a first impressions video on YouTube tomorrow with the look I am doing today but I have to say I love this palette.

I wanted to focus this look on Purples because it’s a safer colour than bright yellow and also is easy to match up with lip colours but I hope that you like it.

MOTD 5: Modern Renaissance Pink Cut Crease

Today is a day in which I have specifically decided to only use one palette which I very rarely do. Usually I will go from palette to palette even purely because I can but I just wanted to see what the Modern Renaissance Palette can really do.

I decided to choose a slightly more vibrant colour than I usually would go for with the staple colours that initially drew me to this palette from the Modern renaissance Palette.

Here is the look that I came up with:

I used the ABH dipbrow in chocolate for my eyebrows with the nyx blush in taupe to go over the top.

For my eyes I used the Elf eye primer in Peal and for mac concealer in NW10 over my lid. I used the colour Tempera for my lid. The colour Burnt orange for my transition colour. Love letter and Venetian red over the lid and Red Ochre in the crease and my mac concealer over for the cut crease. I then used Vermeer over the lid, Nyx matte eyeliner in black and YSL mascara.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this look, Subscribe to my new Youtube channel below and watch my Youtube made me Buy it video. I have also got a video coming tomorrow so watch out for that.

MOTD1: 100 Followers Warm Brown Cut Crease.

Hi guys,

So for 100 followers I initially said that I would do a vanity tour but I’ve just ordered a few more storage pots off of amazon which can take over from my takeaway cartons to store my makeup in so I will wait until then.

I have decided to take a leap of faith and peruse in my new years resolution (to be more adventurous with my makeup as opposed to brown creases and nothing else and to be more confident in general). So now for my 100 followers I have decided to do a look.

This look is a warm brown cut crease with gold.

I started off with my eyebrows using the ABH dipbrow pomade in the colour Chocolate and then set it with the clear brow mascara from the Collection Eyebrow Kit. I then used the Mac Studio finish Concealer in the colour NW10 and blended it down.

For my eyes I used the ELF shadow lock eyelid primer in the colour pearl to prime my eyelids and went all over my eyelid with the second colour on the top row of the 35k morphe pallette and then used the last colour on the top row and the 5th colour on the second row for my cut crease. I then used the mac concealer again to carve out my cut crease and used the NYX single shadow in the colour gold lust over the top. To finish it off I used my bobbi brown eyeliner for my wing, YSL mascara and simply fleur eyelashes from Eyelure. I used the MUA undress your skin shimmer highlight in iridescent gold for the corner of my eye and to highlight my brow bone.

For my face I used the L’oreal true match foundation in the colour Golden Ivory over the top of the Urban Decay Pore perfecting Complexion Primer Potion. and used the last contour colour from the NYX contour kit to contour and bronze. I then went back to my favourite favourite highlight in the world the famousMary Lou-Manizer to highlight and the sleek cream to powder blush in french rose.

To top it all off I used my favourite Milani liquid lipstick in the colour Adorable and set my face with the Nyx setting spray.

I hope that you have liked this look as it has taken rather a lot of courage to post but looks like we’re already kicking 2017’s butt. Also I would like to say thankyou so much for the 100 followers, I know that isn’t much but it makes me so so happy for people to even want to follow my little blog.

love you all.
